3 years ago, my partner Clover and I opened a diy tattoo studio. We saw right away how gatekept the industry was and were horrified at the damage it had caused to marginalized communities. As we learned by trial and error, we started building free resources for diy artists.

We started getting so many DMs we had to make tiktoks to streamline the answering process. Soon, big name artists and even scientists and historians started reaching out to collaborate with us. Even though we were new artists, they saw our passion and believed in our mission.

So we risked everything to come to LA to pursue our goal, to make a tattoo education channel. We quickly learned that with just a little funding, we could reach the millions of people who needed us instead of just thousands.

Now we’ve gone all-in and built a fully developed startup with an investor friendly business model so we can deliver the content the world has been asking for.
